DODGE CITY, Kan. (September 11, 2012) - Due to scheduling conflicts, the USAC National Sprint Car events scheduled for October 19-20 at Dodge City Raceway Park has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled for 2012.

USAC officials and Dodge City Raceway Park management are searching for a suitable date to bring the USAC National Sprint Cars back to Dodge City in 2013. The series last appeared at Dodge City Raceway Park in August of 2011 with Tracy Hines topping both nights of action.

With the October cancellation, only two nights of racing remain on the Dodge City Raceway Park schedule for 2012.

The track's five regular divisions, the IMCA Modifieds, United Wireless IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Poor Boy Kustomz Thunder Cars and Hornets, continue championship chase action this Saturday, September 15.

Those same five classes along with the United Rebel Sprint Series 305-ci Sprint Cars then put the wraps on the 2012 campaign at Dodge City Raceway Park on Championship Night, Saturday, September 29.

Dodge City Raceway Park is located on the south edge of Dodge City, KS, on US 283, then 0.9 miles west on US 56, then 0.1 miles south. For more information, contact the track at 620-225-3277 or check www.dodgecityraceway.com.
