TULSA, Okla. (June 15, 2009)- Spending Father's Day Weekends at the racetracks has been a tradition for decades, as fathers get treated to a great night of racing. For the fourth time in the last five years, the Lucas Oil ASCS Patriot Sprints treat fans of Stateline Speedway to some of the most exciting action they will see all season.

The seventh race of the 2009 Lucas Oil Five Crown Tour will be the seventh Patriot Regional event to be held at Stateline Speedway, the site of the inaugural series race back in 2003. It will also be the second of four races in the Inaugural PJ Motorsports King of the Southern Tier Series.

Stateline is a tricky high-banked 1/3-mile that lets the talent of the wheelmen stand out. It has always produced great races, including some of the all-time bests.

Last Father's Day Weekend, a heavy shower after heat races forces the postponement of the feature and created another one in the process. After another rainout the following week, a pair of features were run on August 23 under pristine skies.

Bryan Howland, of Auburn, NY, scored the first of two 25-lap features last year. That was the 2008 Champion and 2009 Point Leader's last win until he got back to Victory Lane last week at Canandaigua.

In the second feature in 2008, Blake Breen and Bubba Broderick put on an epic battle as they swapped the lead lap after lap until Breen ultimately prevailed for his first win since 2004. Blake, along with his younger brother, Bobby, have been on a tear this season, capturing half of the Patriot races, plus Bobby coming home a strong second last weekend.

Jared Zimbardi, of Little Valley, NY, has been up front all season long and trails Howland by just 14 points. Zimbardi came close to his first career win in 2007 before finally hitting pay dirt the following night for a special Father's Day Gift for his Dad, Tim. "The Juice" is in search of his first win in two years at one of the closest tracks to his home.

Don Adamczyk, from Williamsville, NY, is a new father of two and would love to bring home his first career win to his young ones. Adamczyk has been fast again in 2009, and is always strong at Stateline. His last four finishes along the NY/PA border have been all top-10s, including a pair of top-5s. For Don's Father, Frank, who is the engine master on the No. 21, Victory Lane would feel oh so sweet.

Chris Muhleisen, of Arkport, NY, has five career starts at Stateline, with no finishes worse than eighth. His Dad, Fred, is car owner of the No. 10M, which has gone to Victory Lane three times.

Gary Troutman, of Andover, NY, might not have the results to prove his mettle at Stateline, but on numerous occasions the No. 44 has been a front-runner. Two years ago, Troutman had the quickest car on the speedway and he was challenging for the lead when a mechanical issue forced him pit side.

Those elite eight, along with a group of locals led by John Schuyler, who lives literally a stones throw away from turns three and four of the speedway, Scott Bonnell, from Fairview, PA, Brad Knab, of Delevan, NY and Chris Shuttleworth, of Wellsville, NY are expected to take the short trip to Busti, NY, just south of Jamestown.

Look for outside stars of the winged cars to head to the Southwest corner of New York including Gordy Button, Ray Preston, Derek Jonathan, Judi Bates, Doug Emery, T.J. Newton, Dain Naida, Darren Long, Vern Wasson and many more.

Stateline will also hold the PJ Motorsports King of the Southern Tier Finale on July 25. Racing will start this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.ASCSpatriotsprints.com or www.ASCSracing.com.
