TULSA, Okla. (May 14, 2009) - The debut of Sprint Cars atop the º-mile RPM Speedway in Crandall, TX, will have to wait, as excessive rain in and around the area during the week has forced the cancellation of Friday night's American Sprint Car Series Lone Star Region event at the first-year facility.
The ASCS Lone Star Region is slated to return to RPM Speedway on July 10.
Across the DFW Metroplex, Kennedale's Cowtown Speedway has been fortunate enough to miss most of the heavier storms, with Saturday night's $2,000-to-win ASCS Lone Star event still on as scheduled. Saturday's action gets under way at 7:00 p.m.
