CALHAN, Colo. -- To say Patrick Bourke has the 1/4-mile track at El Paso County Speedway in Calhan, Colo., figured out might be an understatement.
The veteran sprint car driver competing in the United Rebel Sprint Series won for the second time this season in Calhan on Saturday night.
Bourke won for the third time this year in the URSS. He also won May 29 at the Great American Dirt Track at Jetmore Motorplex, and won at Calhan on June 11. In a non-wing show July 23, Bourke finished second behind Blake Smith Jr. In three races at El Paso County Speedway this season, he's finished no worse than runner-up.
Bourke started 10th in the feature and worked his way through the field en route to the victory.
Mike Parker finished second, followed by Dan Brummet and Adam Trimble. Reed Bernbeck rounded out the top five.
Heat race winners were Bourke and Parker.
The Keizer Aluminum Racing Wheels Hard Charger Award went to Bourke, who started 10th and finished first.
