Concord, NC-- June 23, 2009

WHAT

* The blazing fast U.S. 36 Raceway awaits the World of Outlaws this week for the Missouri High-Banked Nationals on Friday, June 26, followed by a stop at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Iowa on Saturday, June 27. After a rainout at U.S. 36 last season, this weekend's event will mark the third appearance for the series at the track which is one of just three on the 2009 schedule with a single digit track record. Jac Haudenschild and Jason Meyers each have won at the ultra high-banked track in the past. Donny Schatz was victorious in the series first visit to Knoxville Raceway in early May. The three-time and defending series champion currently holds a 59-point lead over Joey Saldana in the series standings, with Jason Meyers third and 20-time series champion Steve Kinser fourth.

WHEN

* On Friday, June 26 at U.S. 36 Raceway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Central.

* On Saturday, June 27 at Knoxville Raceway, the pit gates will open at 4 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 6:45 p.m. Central.

WHERE

* U.S. 36 Raceway is located in Osborn, Missouri. From I-35, take US 36 West approx. 7 miles and turn North on State Rt. 33. Look for the sign on the right at about 500 ft.

* Knoxville Raceway is located at the north edge of Knoxville, Iowa on State Road 14 (track is located on the Marion County Fairgrounds).

TICKETS

* On Friday, June 26 at U.S. 36 Raceway, adult reserved tickets will be $35, with reserved tickets for children ages 12-under $15. Reserved seating will also be available in the Top-2 row (20-21) for $40 which includes a reserved seat a pit pass. Pit combos are also available for $38 in advance for $38 and include a reserved seat and a pit pass. * On Saturday, June 27 at Knoxville Raceway, Adult general admission tickets will be $30, with general admission tickets for children will be $15.
