Kari Anne Albert and Brant Neil Mellies were married Oct. 20, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Beloit, with Father Joseph Kieffer officiating.
Parents of couple are Monte and Jolene Albert, Cawker City, and Dave and Lori Mellies, Ness City.
Grandparents of the couple are Florence Albert, Glen Elder, the late Billie Albert, the late Charles and Helen Muths, Larry Benedict, Ness City, the late Brenda Benedict and the late Charles and Ruby Mellies.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Kelsey Adams, sister of the bride. Attendants were Jamie Emerson, Ashley Harris, Kelly McPeak, Paige Domoney and Echo Penny.
Best man was Blake Mellies, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Colby Gantz, Brodie Pfannenstiel, Nick Mondero, Trevor Pfannenstiel and Wade Gantz.
The flower girl was Riley Penny. Ringbearer was Kemper Adams, nephew of the bride. Candlelighters were Christie Fouts and Jenny McElroy. Ushers were Ross Reinert, Jay Muller, Chris Mondero and Justin Richardson.
The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University and is a cashier at Community Bank of the Midwest, Ness City.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Manhattan Vocational Technical College and farms with his father and uncle.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds are at home on a farm near Ness City.
