Melissa Rae Anschutz and Brentley Peter Donaldson were married Oct. 15, 2011, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Kansas City, Mo., with Msgr. Robert Gregory officiating.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Cynthia Anschutz, Hays, and Anita Donaldson, Leawood.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Sarah Nicks, sister of the bride. Attendants were Vanessa Martin, Adriana Morehead, Kyra Martinez, Felicia Hoskins and Jennifer Kelley.

Groomsmen were Doug Weil, Brenden Ways, Seth Chapin, Steve Quiarte, Jake Gronbeck and Creighton Anschutz. Ushers were Tim Nicks, Tanner Nicks, Tom Kelley and Kyle Sebus.

Flower girls were Annie and Brynne Kelley. Ringbearer was Christopher Kelley. Junior groomsman was Cole Nicks.

The bride is a graduate of Hays High School and the University of Kansas. She is an early childhood special education teacher in Blue Valley school district.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Rockhurst High School and University of Dayton. He is self-employed as a finance consultant.

The newlyweds are at home in Kansas City.
