Rodney and Robin Armbrister, Ellis, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Dana Armbrister, to Kody Ellis, son of Kim and Kay Ellis, St. John.

Grandparents of the couple are Raymond and Evelyn Armbrister, Hays, John Dice, WaKeeney, the late Greta Dice, Donna Ellis and Larry Scholes, both of Stafford, the late George Ellis, and the late Silva Scholes.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Ellis High School. She is a non-invasive cardiology technician at Hays Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Fort Hays State University with degrees in technology communications and organizational leadership. He is assistant manager at Whiskey Creek.

An Oct. 17, 2009, wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church, Hays.
