Lauren Elizabeth Arnold and Phillip Lyle Mitchell were married May 30, 2009, at Lake of the Forest, Bonner Springs, with Rev. Gary Jones, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Claudia Arnold, Overland Park, and Gerald and Kathy Mitchell, Hays.
Grandparents of the couple are James and Bobbi Arnold, Jack Mozur, the late May Mozur, Ray and Delores Eilts and the late Lyle and Helen Mitchell.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendants were Lauren Ramsey and Ashley LaFond, both friends of the bride.
Best men were David Mitchell, brother of the groom and Adam Leitel, friend of the groom.
The bride is pursuing an elementary education degree at the University of Kansas.
The bridegroom is a graduate of KU. He is a teacher at Free State High School, Lawrence.
Following a wedding trip to San Francisco, the newlyweds are at home in Lawrence.
