Atkerson-DeWolf
Cliff and Kayla Atkerson and Jim and Rita Forsythe, Russell, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Cristy Lea Atkerson, to Keith Allan DeWolf, son of Gaylen and Chris Wiig, Smith Center.
Grandparents of the couple are MaryAnn Atkerson, Russell, the late Leon Atkerson, Arden Alexander, Geneseo, James and Sherrill Forsythe, Hays, the late Carl and Florence Dumler, Don and Mary McIntosh, Norfolk, Neb., and Gene and Diana Hilton, Sioux City, Iowa.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Russell High School and a 2003 graduate of Emporia State University with elementary and special education degrees. She is a technology assistant at Roosevelt Elementary School.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Smith Center High School and is attending Fort Hays State University majoring in business management. He is employed at Sunflower Bank's north branch.
A March 21, 2009, wedding is planned at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell.
