Howard and Carol Baalman, Menlo, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

They farm in the Menlo area, where they have lived for 50 years.

Children of the couple are Stephanie Schippers and husband, David, and Mitchell Baalman and wife, Lola, all of Hoxie; Keyna Baalman, Colby; Danielle Perry and husband, Dave, Minneapolis; and Darcy Hotz and husband, Art, Rose Hill.

The couple have 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Howard Baalman and Carol McIlnay were married April 22, 1959, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby.
