Chuck and Linda Becker, Plainville, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashley Marie Becker, to Jeffery Ryan Nix, son of Phillip and Belinda Nix, Gravelbridge, Ark.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Plainville High School. She was employed at Hays Medical Center before moving to Scott City.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Clay Center High School and is attending Fort Hays State University. He is employed at Prairie Fire Energy, Healy.
A Nov. 14, 2009, wedding is planned at Messiah Lutheran Church, Hays.
