Bentley-Steward
Terrence and Mary Bentley, Lawrence, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karen Bentley, to Joshua Steward, son of Kent and Debra, Hays.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is a research analyst at the Polling Company Inc., Washington.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and a 2005 graduate of KU with bachelor's degrees in English and political science. He is a third-year law student at College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Va.
An Aug. 3, 2009, wedding is planned at Corpus Christi Church, Lawrence.
