Donald and Carol Jean Bieker, Hoxie, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 7 with a family dinner at Hoxie Elks Lodge hosted by their children.

Children of the couple are Susan Bieker, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Gary Bieker, Hays, David Beiker and wife, Mary Beth, Aurora, Colo., James Bieker and wife, Mindy, Hill City, and Roger Bieker and wife, Jody, Seneca.

The couple has nine grandchildren, Nichole and Ashley, both of El Dorado Springs, Abigail and Katelyn, both of Aurora, Gretchen and Grace, both of Hill City, and Emma, Max and Jack, all of Seneca.

Donald and Carol Jean (Spresser) Bieker were married April 25, 1962, in Hoxie.
