Julie Blackwill and Michael McDonald were married July 25, 2009, in Park, with Father James Thomas officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Kathy Blackwill, and Jeanetta McDonald, all of Quinter, and Stan McDonald, Morland.
The bride was escorted by her parents.
Honor attendants were Stacy Cassio and Lindy McDaniel. Attendants were Lauren Hargitt and Chantel Thornburg.
Best man was Tyler McDonald. Groomsmen were Todd Blackwill, Tyler Smith and Jeremy Salem. Ushers were Joe Pfannenstiel, Isaac Smith, Hoss Jones, Justin Langer, Keith Wangerin, and Alan Foster.
Candlelighters were Amber McDonald and Brooke Blackwill. Flower girls were Jordin and Addison Owens. Ringbearer was Emmitt McDaniel.
The bride is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed at Quinter Grade School and Children's Neighborhood.
The bridegroom is a graduate of FHSU with a bachelor's degree in finance and economics. He is employed at KansasLand Bank, Quinter.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds are at home in Quinter.
