Marvin and Mary Jo Braun celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 14 with a family dinner.

Hosts for the occasion were their children, Barbara Ciani, Kansas City, Mo., Tom Braun and wife, Cathy; Terence Braun and wife, Kathleen; Sue Leiker and husband, Laren; Debra Pfeifer; Karla Stroup and fiance, Duane Fisher, all of Hays; and Lisa Thierer and husband, Max, Shawnee.

The couple have 15 grandchildren, Sara Linderman and husband, Brook, Kansas City, Mo.; Dr. Keith Ciani and wife, Dr. Maria Ciani, Denver; Kelly Braun and fiance, Jeff Benoit, Erin Braun and Shawn Richmeier, and Caitlin Braun and fiance, Dylan Sultzer, Hays; Travis Braun and Brad Braun, Victoria; Kaleen Munsch and husband, Jordan, Hays; Chad Braun, Hays; Amber Marrs and husband, Brett, Wichita; Landon Leiker and wife, Lynn, Hays; Brennan Leiker, Emily Pfeifer and Tyler

The couple have seven great-grandchildren, Mia and Molly Linderman, Morgan and Spencer Munsch, Ava and Carson Marrs and Logan Leiker.

Marvin and Mary Jo (Rohr) Braun were married Aug. 23, 1950, in Munjor.
