Leon and Janice Breit, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Andrea Breit, to Chris Coffman, son of Richard and Vickie Coffman, Minneapolis.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in health and human performance, with an emphasis in exercise physiology. She is pursuing a degree in ultrasound at St. Luke's School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Kansas City, Mo. She is employed at Concentra in Lenexa.

The prospective bridegroom to be is a graduate of Minneapolis High School and earned a degree in communication from FHSU. He is employed at Nokia-Siemens Networks, Gardner.

A Sept. 25, 2010, wedding is planned at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.
