George and Centhia Hutchens, Bushton, and Bob and Brenda Jackson, Geneseo, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Angie Marie Brough, to Derek Joseph Linden, son of Bill and Kay Linden, Ellinwood.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Quivira Heights High School and is attending Barton County Community College majoring in business. She is employeed by CPI Qualified Plan Consultants Inc., Great Bend.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Ellinwood High School and is attending Pratt Community College majoring in applied science. He is employed by Straub International Inc., Great Bend.

A Sept. 6, 2008, wedding is planned at St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood.
