Sarah Brown and Lane Patterson were married April 13, 2013, at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, Estes Park, Colo., with Father Norbert Dlabal officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dave and Joan Brown, Hays, Vicki Patterson, Phillipsburg, and the late Laurence Patterson.
Grandparents of the couple are Pete and Lillian Dlabal, Ellsworth, the late Bob and Betty Brown, the late Morris and Lyla Patterson, and the late William and Vera Lethem.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Susan Dreiling. Attendants were Jen Brown and Jessie Brown, both sisters of the bride, Laurel Hickel and Schamra Detherage.
Best man was Mike Miller. Groomsmen were Lance Patterson, brother of the groom, Denny Tweedy, Cody Breon, Mitch Beard and Myles Wood. Ushers were Bryan Chalfant, brother-in-law of the groom, Noah Chalfant, nephew of the groom, Matt Brown, brother of the bride, and AJ Brown, nephew of the bride.
Candlelighter was Sadye Patterson, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Avery Brown, niece of the bride, and Lydia Patterson, niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Blake Patterson and Jude Chalfant, both nephews of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and Fort Hays State University. She is employed in the human resource department at Hays Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and FHSU. He is a wellness specialist/personal trainer at the Center for Health Improvement.
Following a wedding trip to Estes Park, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
