Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Carswell, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kelli Marie, to Dustin Hofmeier, son of Mr. Larry Hofmeier, Baldwin City and Mrs. Deb Lawrenze, Lawrence.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Hays High School and Kansas State University.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Derby High School. The couple are both employed in the Kansas City area.

An October wedding is planned.
