James and Wendy Collins, Topeka, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Jean Collins, to Adam Christopher Arensdorf, son of Steve and Ann Arensdorf, Hays.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Washburn University, Topeka. She is employed as the art director and graphic artist for Peterson Publication Inc., Topeka.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Fort Hays State University. He is employed as an officer for the Topeka Police Department.

A Sept. 18, 2010, wedding is planned at Reinisch Rose Garden in Gage Park, Topeka.
