Cooper-Bohme

Stevan and Sharon Cooper, Chase, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelley Kay Cooper, to Andrew John Bohme, son of Kenneth and Janice Bohme, Atwood.

Grandparents of the couple are Duane and Helen Gugler, Salina, the late Milton and June Cooper, William Cahoj Sr., Atwood, the late Margaret Cahoj, and the late Francis and Dorothy Bohme.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Chase High School and a 2007 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She works as a speech-language pathologist with Coastal Speech Center, Lumberton, N.C.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Atwood High School and a veteran of the Iraq war. He will attend Robeson Community College in the fall, majoring in business. He is employed by UPS in Lumberton.

An outdoor wedding is planned for Aug. 2, 2008, in rural Wilson.
