Marion and Geraldine Counts

Marion and Geraldine Counts, Russell, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by attending St. John Lutheran Church, where they were married on Oct. 11, 1959. Following the service, they will have a dinner with family and friends.

The couple started RMS Counts, an after-school program for middle school youth. Donations in their honor can be included in the cards for anyone who would like to join them in supporting Russell youth.

Children of the couple are Curtis and wife, Vickie, Russell; Jackie Counts and husband, Bruce Eggers, Lawrence. They have five grandchildren, Heather Ross and husband, Jon, Chad Counts, Brittni Counts, Keii Eggers and Kane Eggers. They have two great-grandchildren, Brygette and Jaxon Ross.

Their children and grandchildren will honor them with a card shower. Cards can be sent to the couple at Box 162, Russell, KS 67665.
