Jayme Lynn Evans and Thomas Leroy Zimmerman were united in marriage Jan. 5, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park, with Father Mitchel Zimmerman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bryan and Terri Evans, Gove, Elmer Zimmerman, Hoxie, and the late Yvonne Zimmerman.

Grandparents of the couple are Rex and Verda Albin, and Leo and Eulalia Ochs, all of Quinter, Larry and Bonnie Evans, Gove, and Jake and Helen Zimmerman, Grainfield.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendants were Lacey Evans and Ashley Evans, sisters of the bride. Attendants were Denise Voth, cousin of the bride, and Danna Hockman, friend of the couple. Junior attendant was Jenna Rose, cousin of the bride.

Best men were Norman Zimmerman and Rod Zimmerman, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Zimmerman, brother of the groom, and James Elling, brother-in-law of the groom. Junior attendant was Alex Zimmerman, nephew of the groom.

Flower girls were Kassy Middleton, cousin of the bride, and Meghann Elling, neice of the groom. Ushers were Dylan Middleton, Logan Middleton and Josh Middleton, cousins of the bride, and Tyler Geotz and Doug Cure, friends of the couple.

Candlelighters were Brooke Evans and Katelyn Rose, cousins of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Quinter High School and North Central Kansas Technical College as a licensed practical nurse. She works in the operating room at Hays Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Hoxie High School. He is a lead tech at Nex-Tech, Hays.

Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, Cozumel and the Grand Cayman Islands, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
