Charles and Jennifer Fessenden, Almena, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Regan Fessenden, to Paul Schupmann, son of the Rev. Philip and Sara Schupmann.

Grandparents are Dale and Leota Fessenden and Sylvia Kats.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northern Valley High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in communication studies.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Luther Preparatory School, Watertown, Wis., Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn., and Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wisc. He serves as associate pastor at St. John Lutheran Church, Juneau, Wis.

A July 4, 2008, wedding is planned at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Norton.
