Leroy and Janice Flax, WaKeeney, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Angela Marie Flax, to Michael Wayne McKenna, son of Carol McKenna, Russell.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State Univeristy. She is employed at Hays Orthopaedic Clinic.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Russell High School and a 2000 graduate of FHSU. He is employed at White Communications/KRSL Radio, Russell.

An Oct. 11, 2008, wedding is planned at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney.
