Arlene and Cliff Gilbert, Marlene and Robert Funk

Arlene (Wilson) and Cliff 'Babe' Gilbert were married Aug. 2, 1959, at McCracken Methodist Church by the late Rev. Elmer Robison. Marlene (Wilson) and Robert "Bob" Funk were married Oct. 3, 1959, at McCracken Methodist Church, also by the late Rev. Elmer Robison. Fifty years later, Arlene and Babe reside in McCracken, and Marlene and Bob reside in WaKeeney.

The couple's children are Mr. and Mrs. Jeff (Anita) Butler, Solomon, Shari Funk, WaKeeney, Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Kelly) Weber, Ness City, and Mr. and Mrs. Brett Gilbert, McCracken.  The couple's grandchildren are Ursula Butler, Spencer and Levi White, Mason Weber, Haily, Courtney, Erica Gilbert.

The children and grandchildren are hosting a buffet supper from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.  

Family and friends are welcome to join them at the Darkes/Jack Wilson Farm 2 miles north of McCracken at Kansas Highway 4 and Ave G.  Please bring your memories and lawn chairs. In lieu of gifts, the couples are suggesting that you make a donation to your place of worship or favorite charity.
