Burke and Mary Jane Goebel, Jetmore, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lacey Marie Goebel, to Ross Allen Kee, son of Allen and Marcy Kee, Beloit.

Grandparents of the couple are Theresa Downey, Spearville, the late William Downey, the late Howard and Vera Goebel, Loren and Leona Newell, Damar, and the late William Kee.

The bride-elect graduated from Jetmore High School and is a 2010 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and mathematics. She will obtain her master's degree in May from FHSU in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). In the future, she plans to obtain her Ph.D. in educational administration. She is an ESOL teacher/supervisor for the Hays school district.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from St. John High School, Beloit, and  is a 2011 graduate of Newman University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He attends the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. After graduation, he plans to attend oral surgery school.

A July 27, 2013, wedding is planned at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.
