Chris and Dana Goetz, Hays, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary July 5, 2008, along with the wedding reception of their daughter, Jennifer, in Hays.

They plan to take an extended trip to Costa Rica, where they are building a vacation home.

Children of the couple are Jennifer Hallam and husband, T.J., Hays, and Laura Rupke and husband, Bryan, Oceanside, Calif.

The couple have two grandchildren, Kallie and Kaison Rupke, Oceanside.

Chris Goetz and Dana Janzen were married July 8, 1978, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays.
