Lawrence and Eva Gould, Hays, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 8 with a family gathering at North Adams, Mass.
Children of the couple are Scott Gould and wife, Dena, Aurora, Colo., and Stacey Smith and husband, Shane, Hays.
The couple have six grandchildren, DeShawn, DeNae, Hayden, Leyara, Jalen and Lauren.

Lawrence and Eva (Altiere) Gould were married Aug. 22, 1970, at St. John Episcopal Church, North Adams.
