George and MaryDel Graves
George and MaryDel Graves, Logan, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 23, 2008, with a family dinner at noon and a public reception hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church Parish Hall, Logan. They asks for no gifts.
Children of the couple are Anne Palen and husband, Rodney, Beloit; Tom Graves, Logan; Rick Graves and John Graves and wife, Heather, all of Wichita; Dan Graves and wife, Susanne, Splendora, Texas; and Bill Graves and wife, Julia, Lexington, Ky.; and the late Michael Graves.
The couple have eight grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
George is a retired cabinet maker, and MaryDel is a librarian at Logan Public Library.
