Willie and Jean (Hemmert) Heier, Grinnell, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 13, 2009, with an open house and reception hosted by their daughters from 2 to 4 p.m. at American Legion Hall, Grainfield.

Children of the couple are the late Danny Heier; Debbie Lubbers and husband, Joe, McCook, Neb.; Dorena Goyen and husband, Kevin, Kingman; Donna Williams and husband, Johnnie, Page City; and Darlene Selley and husband, Justen, Colby.

Grandchildren of the couple are Bethyl Randa and husband, Kyle, Arnold; Patrick Lubbers, McCook, Neb.; Sarah Goyen, Lawrence; Skyler Goyen, Kingman; Jerri, Jessi and Daniel Williams, Page City; Porscha, Martin and Billy and Grace Selley, Colby.

Great-grandson is Alexander Randa, Arnold.

Willie and Jean (Hemmert) Heier were married June 16, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley.
