Leo and Hubertina Herbel, Russell, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Jan. 26, 2010.
Leo worked in the oil business. The couple owned Leo's Pump and Supply until June 2006. Hubertina was the bookkeeper.
The couple have three children, Leo F. Herbel, Kansas City, Lionel J. Herbel, Wichita, and Brenda Lee Linenberger, Hays.
The couple have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Leo Herbel and Hubertina Weigel were married Jan. 26, 1948, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Russell, by Father Moran.
