Richard and Virginia Holecek, Russell, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 7 with an informal reception hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 209 E. Wisconsin, Russell.

Children of the couple are Debbie Kaupp and husband, Lynn, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Marsha Bouker and husband, Ed, Hays; Doug Holecek and wife, Roxanne, St. Mary; Darin Holecek and wife, Cindy, Ellsworth; and Dawn Spiker and husband, Bill, Mason, Ohio.

The couple has 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Richard and Virginia (Judy) Holecek were married Aug. 19, 1950, at Presbyterian Manse, Ellsworth.
