Garrett Kaiser and Lishe Isom announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Kelly and Deb Isom, Ozark, Mo., Lori Meier, Hoxie, and the late Richard Kaiser.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Smith Center High School and earned a bachelor's degree in health and human performance with a minor in business administration. She is a secretary at First State Bank, Hoxie, and a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Hoxie High School and earned a bachelor's degree in health and human performance. He graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2009 with a master's degree in health and human performance. He is an insurance agent for Hoxie State Insurance.

A May wedding is planned at Celebration Community Church, Hays.
