Lucille Jacobs, Smith Center, and the late Victor Jacobs announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Laura Jacobs, to Willy Ehrlich, son of Herta Ehrlich, Russell, and the late Wilbur Ehrlich.
The bride-elect is a third-shift parts caster at Enersys, Hays.
The prospective bridegroom has worked in the oilfields for 30 years and is a gauger for Plains Pipeline.
A December 2008 wedding is planned in Russell.
