Kimbrell-Braun
Phyllis Montemayor, Overland Park, and the late Albert Montemayor, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christa Kimbrell, to Scott Braun, son of Edith and Wayne Braun, Hays.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and University of Phoenix with a master's degree in business administration. She is employed at Centerpoint Medical Center.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Hays High School. He is a contractor and entrepreneur.
An Oct. 4, 2008, wedding is planned at Timber Ridge Adventure Center, Olathe.
