Rachel Lynn Kirmer and Kevin Philip Dolechek were married May 30, 2009, at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Daryl Olmstead officiating.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Patricia Kirmer, Claflin, and Gordon and Denise Dolechek, Russell.
Grandparents of the couple are Ben and Shirla Kirmer, Claflin, Darlene Branham, Great Bend, the late John Roy and Mace Evans, the late Albert and Katie Dolechek, and the late Donnie Branham.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Megan Kirmer, Hays, sister of the bride. Attendants were Traci Long Jilka, Hill City, and Lisa Nemnich, Hays, friends of the bride.
Best man was Joel Hesed, Holton, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Mat Breit, Great Bend, and Frank Basgall, Lawrence, friends of the groom.
Ushers were Ryan Vavricka, Hays, Matt Yarmer, Atchison, Chris Rodie, Wichita, and Marshall Fey, Bakersfield, Calif., friends of the groom.
Candlelighters were Kalee Kirmer, Hays, and Brogan Kirmer, Claflin, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Hunter Haselhorst, Pratt, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Aiden Moyer, Salina, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Claflin High School and a 2007 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in business communication. She graduated from FHSU in May with a master's degree in business administration.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Otis-Bison High School and a 2006 graduate of FHSU with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He is a printing specialist at FHSU.
Following a wedding trip to Maui, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
