Mary Kinser and Russ Cressler would like to give thanks to the Lord in having the privilege of announcing their engagement.

A wedding is planned Jan. 18, 2014, at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays.

The bride raises cattle and lives south of Jennings. Her parents are Evelyn and the late Ben Meitl of the Oberlin-Dresden area.

She is the mother of Megan Pray, Ashley Green, Kyle Kinser and Elise Kinser.

The bridegroom lives in Bison. He works at Hays Medical Center as a maintenance electrician.

He is the son of Wayne and Louise Cressler, Jennings. He is the father of Amber Klassen, Nikki Probasco, Rob Cressler and Preston Cressler.

The couple feels blessed and is planning to make their home in Bison.
