Erwin and Shirley Kroeger, Ellis, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 20, 2009, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. The couple requests no gifts.

Children of the couple are Michael Kroeger, Russell, the late Douglas Kroeger, Timothy Kroeger, Ellis, Julie Schoenberger and husband, Dan, Wichita and Holly Gilbert and husband, Brett, McCracken.

The couple have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Erwin and Shirley (Massier) Kroeger were married Sept. 22, 1949, at Christ Lutheran Church, Ellis, with Pastor W.F.V. Churchill officiating.
