Robert Lawton, Overland Park, and Vickie Lawton, Woodland Shores, Okla., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Nicole Davis, to Seth Nulton, son of Rachel and Curtis Johnson, Hays, and Rick and Darlene Nulton, Hoisington.

Grandparents are Bert and Joyce Lawton, Lagley, Okla., Daniel and Charlene Farris, Des Moines, Iowa, Esther Kraus, Hays, the late John W. Kraus, and Tom and Phyllis Nulton, Hoisington.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Ketchumm Okla., High School, and a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism broadcasting and public relations. She is sales and marketing manager for DeVault Enterprises Inc., Broken Arrow, Okla.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Hoisington High School, a 2000 graduate of Garden City Community College and a 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in aviation education. He is a pilot for SkyWest Airlines.

A May 17, 2008, wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church, Hays.
