Dave and Connie Leikam, Hays, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sharon Clara Leikam, to Aaron James Leuenberger, son of Marilyn Frank, Great Bend, and the late Lloyd Leuenberger.

The bride-elect will graduate in December from Kansas State University with a degree in family studies and human services. She is a medical assistant at Hays Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Colby Community College. He is a physical therapy assistant at HMC.

An Oct. 16, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Munjor.
