Erin Locke and Aaron Nilhas were married June 6, 2009, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lawrence, with Father Donald F. Pfannenstiel, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Marlin and Deb Locke, and John and Vae Nilhas, all of WaKeeney.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Kirsten Locke, sister of the bride.
Best man was Tyrel Nilhas, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Nathan and Cameron Locke, both brothers of the bride, and Blake Nilhas and Jawn Marsh, both cousins of the groom. Flower girl was Emily Martin, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Brock Narciso, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Trego Community High School and the University of Notre Dame. She is a medical student at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Trego Community High School and the University of Kansas. He is a medical student at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds are at home in Kansas City.
