Kaley Diane Lyon and Jerome Shane Conner were married June 12, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, Hays, with the Rev. Jerre Nolte and Pastor Leroy Lyon, grandfather of the bride, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Kenton and Kim Lyon, Gorham, and David and Alice Conner, Elkhart.

Grandparents of the couple are Leroy and Jeri Lyon, Pawnee Rock, John and Judy Link, Pratt, the late Gail and Geri Walker, Melbourne Headrick, Hooker, Okla., the late Alice Headrick, Lorraine Conner, Keyes, Okla., and the late Keith Conner.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendants were Rachel Debes and Katie Bueker, both friends of the bride. Attendants were Mandi Bussen, friend of the bride, Kimberly Conner, sister of the groom, and Maygan Boone, cousin of the bride.

Best men were Jeremy and Keith Conner, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Mathias Clay Leeson and Michael LaFond, friends of the groom, and Richard Lyon, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Richard Lyon, brother of the bride, and Adam Boone, cousin of the bride. Candlelighters were Jeffrey Lyon and Maygan Boone, cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Aliyah Conner, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Jonathan Lyon, cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hays High School and a 2009 graduate of Fort Hays State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communication studies. She is a news reporter at The Hays Daily News.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Elkhart High School and a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics. He is general manager of the Tiger Book Shop, Hays.

Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyeweds are at home in Gorham.
