Pam and Dan Barrett and Mitch Marsh, all of Olathe, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Melissa Marsh, to Garret Basgall, son of Ray and Kathy Basgall, La Crosse.

The bride-elect is employed at NorthCare Hospice, Kansas City, Mo.

The prospective bridegroom is employed at Brothers Automotive, Overland Park.

A May 4, 2013, wedding is planned at Town Square, Paola.
