The Rev. Larry and Patsy McDermott, Plainville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their children and families at a later date.
Children of the couple are Tim and Gloria McDermott, Norman, Okla., David and Jo McDermott, Hill City, and Dennis and Mary Nelson, Salina.
The couple have six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. Larry McDermott and Patsy Scofield were married July 31, 1959, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Pacifica, Calif.
