Jennifer Meitl and Keith Conrad were married Dec. 17, 2011, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Lawrence, with Father John Schmeidler officiating.

Parents of the couple are Duane and Nancy Meitl, Rush Center, and Tom and Pat Conrad, Murphysboro, Ill.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Rhonda Meitl. Attendants were Erin Purdon, Whitney Clarke and Megan Vandecoevering.

Best man was Jared Tarrents. Groomsmen were Matt Rothen, Ben Loehr and Daniel Hunsperger. Ushers were Nathan Conrad, Kenny Titus, Jacob Brinker and Bryce Falaster.

Flower girl was Kylie McCarroll. Ringbearer was Nolan Conrad.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in speech sciences and a graduate of Oregon State University with a master's degree in education. She is a youth director at St. John the Evangelist.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is an electrical engineer at Burns and McDonnell.

Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds are at home in Rush Center.
