Mr. and Mrs. William J. Miller, Bonner Springs, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Roshell, to James Alan Folkerts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Folkerts, Rush Center.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Bonner Springs High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. She is a social media manager at Sprint.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of La Crosse High School and a 2006 graduate of DeVry University. He is a computer programmer for Charles Schwab Performance Technologies.

An outdoor fall wedding is planned in Bonner Springs.
