Miller-Hammeke
Mike and Kathy Schneider, WaKeeney, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Sue Miller, to Aaron David Hammeke, son of Colin and Lori Hammeke, Great Bend.
Grandparents of the couple are Viola Schneider, WaKeeney; the late Ben Schneider; Viola Castens, and Harvey and Maxine Wright, all of Atwood; the late Donnie Castens; Richard and Joan Pope, and William Robinson, all of Great Bend; and the late Norman and Joleen Hammeke.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and is majoring in elementary education at Fort Hays State University.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Great Bend High School and is majoring in criminal justice at FHSU. He is employed at St. Francis Community Services.
An Oct. 4, 2008, wedding is planned at WaKeeney Church of God.
