Kirk and Lois Miller, La Crosse, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Miller, to Eric Wendell Bose, son of David and Linda Bose, Deerfield.

Grandparents of the couple are Arlene Miller, Ness City, the late Frank Miller, the late Reuben and Rose Gumescheimer, Wendell Bose, Dumas, Texas, the late Lois Bose, and Roland and Mae Morse, Canyon, Texas.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Hays Academy of Hair Design. She is employed by J.C. Penney's Hair Salon and Dillons, both of Hays.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Northwest Kansas Technical College, Goodland. He is a respiratory therapist at Hays Medical Center.

A Nov. 17, 2012, wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church, Hays.
